Custom Domain
Custom Domain lets you replace the default Jestor URL with a domain of your choice, giving your workspace a fully branded web address.
Capabilities
- Set a custom domain for your Jestor workspace
New domain
Enter your desired domain in the Domain field and click Save. To avoid conflicts, Jestor recommends using a custom subdomain — for example, www.platform.nike.com.
Use cases and examples
- Using a branded URL like
app.yourcompany.cominstead of the default Jestor address when delivering the platform to clients or internal teams
Keep in mind
- Jestor recommends using a subdomain rather than a root domain to prevent DNS conflicts
- DNS configuration on your domain provider's side is required for the custom domain to work — Jestor does not manage this configuration for you
FAQ
1- Can I use a root domain instead of a subdomain?
It is not recommended. Jestor advises using a custom subdomain (e.g., www.platform.yourcompany.com) to avoid DNS conflicts with your root domain.
2- Do I need to configure anything on my DNS provider after saving the domain here?
Yes. You need to point your domain to Jestor by adding the appropriate DNS records on your domain provider's side. Jestor does not manage this configuration for you.
3- Can I have different custom domains for different workspaces?
Each workspace has its own Custom Domain setting, so yes — you can configure a different domain for each workspace separately.
