AI Credits

AI credits measure how much your account uses Jestor's AI features. See which features use them, where to follow your usage and how to read the AI credits report.

In short

  • What they are: AI credits are the unit that measures usage of Jestor's AI features.
  • Monthly reset: AI credits reset every month.
  • Where to see them: Settings (Ctrl + .) > Plan > Usage, in the AI Credits card.
  • Reports: the AI credits report lists each feature that used credits, with its origin, credits and number of uses, for the month you pick. Export it as CSV in one click.
  • Monthly history: get a downloadable file by e-mail.
  • What affects consumption: different AI models use different amounts of credits. In the AI App Builder, Saver (Cheaper) mode helps you spend fewer credits.
  • Through the MCP: check your AI usage from your AI client with the Jestor MCP.

What is it

Jestor's AI features build apps for you, answer questions about your data and reply to your customers on WhatsApp and email. AI credits are how Jestor measures that work. Every time one of these features runs, it uses credits, and the Usage page shows how many your account used this month. AI credits reset every month, so each month starts fresh.

With a clear view of your AI usage, you can see which features your team relies on most and keep track of how much your account consumes.

How to access

  1. Open Settings. You can also press Ctrl + . from anywhere in Jestor.
  2. Go to Plan.
  3. Click Usage. The Usage page opens.
  4. Find the AI Credits card.

Which features use AI credits

Type of workFeatures
BuildingAI App Builder, Block Composer and AI Block Builder
Everyday AI workAsk Agent, WhatsApp Agent and Email Agent
Through the MCPActions done through the Jestor MCP, depending on the operation

The AI credits report shows each of these features by Name and Origin, so you can see exactly where your credits go.

What affects consumption

Not every AI request costs the same. Different AI models consume different amounts of credits, so the same kind of request can use more or fewer credits depending on the model behind it.

In the AI App Builder chat, the Auto selector has two options under Mode:

ModeWhat it does
Auto (Balanced)On by default. Chooses the best configuration for each request.
Saver (Cheaper)Runs the agent at a lower cost, using fewer AI credits.
📘

Tip: use Saver for simpler requests

For quick, simple changes, switch to Saver (Cheaper) to stretch your AI credits further. Switch back to Auto (Balanced) whenever you want Jestor to pick the best configuration for the job.
