Use cases and examples
- You want to switch to dark mode quickly → open Settings with Ctrl/Cmd + ., go to Appearance, and toggle dark mode.
- A new team member joined → go to Users to invite them and assign a role.
- Your company rebranded → update logos and colors under Branding.
- You want to check how much automation usage you've consumed this month → open Usage.
- You need to investigate who changed a record → check History log.
Keep in mind
- Some sections open as full pages outside the modal (Usage, Roles, History log, Automation log, Users). This is by design — those sections have more complex content that doesn't fit within the panel.
- Settings changes that affect the whole workspace (like Branding or Behavior) are visible to all users, not just you.
- Armageddon permanently deletes your Jestor account and cannot be undone.
- Profile settings (name, picture, email) are personal and do not affect other users in the workspace.
FAQ
1- How do I open Settings without using the menu?
Press Command + . on Mac or Ctrl + . on Windows/Linux to open the Settings panel from anywhere in Jestor.
2- What is the difference between Roles and Users?
Users manages who has access to your workspace. Roles defines what each user is allowed to do. You typically configure roles first, then assign them when inviting users.
3- Some settings open inside the panel and others open as full pages. Why?
Sections with more complex content — like Usage, Roles, and Logs — open as dedicated pages because they require more space to display their data clearly.
4- Is there a way to recover my account after using Armageddon?
No. Armageddon permanently deletes your Jestor account and is irreversible. Make sure you intend to proceed before confirming.
