Company
Company is where you configure your organization's identity and access links in Jestor.
This page covers the Company section of Settings. For instructions on how to access Settings, see the Settings page.
Capabilities
- Upload or paste your organization's icon
- Set the company name displayed across the workspace
- View your unique Company ID and standard access links
- Configure a custom subdomain for your organization
Fields
Org Icon — Upload an image by dragging and dropping it or pasting with Ctrl V. This icon represents your organization throughout Jestor.
Company Name — The name of your organization as it appears in the workspace.
Company ID — A unique identifier for your organization. This is read-only and can be copied to the clipboard. Share it with new team members so they can find and join the correct workspace during login — especially useful when someone has access to multiple organizations in Jestor.
Company Links — Ready-to-use links that take users directly to your workspace login page. Share these links with your team instead of the generic Jestor URL to make access easier and avoid confusion between organizations. If you have set a Custom Subdomain, an additional branded link will appear here as well.
Custom Subdomain — Set a custom subdomain in the format myorgname.jestor.com to create a branded access link for your organization.
Keep in mind
- Changing the Custom Subdomain may cause temporary downtime for your API and some systems while the update completes. Make this change during off-peak hours (weekends or nighttime) to minimize disruption.
- Once you switch to a new custom subdomain, any previously used custom links will stop working. Your standard Jestor links (
my.jestor.comandid.jestor.com) will continue to work, but you must update any public forms and shared links that used the old subdomain.
FAQ
1- Can I change my custom subdomain more than once? Yes, but each change invalidates the previous custom subdomain. Any links, public forms, or integrations using the old subdomain will need to be updated manually.
2- Does changing the Company Name affect how users log in? No. Login is based on your email and Company ID or access links, not the company name. The name change is visual only.
