Drafts
Save information even before you have all required data. Edit a record as many times as needed before converting it into a full record. Drafts are visually distinguished by a yellow color.
What is a draft?
Any record missing required fields is considered a draft. Drafts are marked in yellow with an exclamation mark on the left side.
Drafts are useful when you don't yet have all the information needed to complete a record — you can save progress and return later.
Important: Drafts are not considered records in your table. As long as a record remains a draft, it will not trigger automations.
How to create a draft
There are several ways to start a new draft:
From the table view:
- Click the + button on the left side of the first row, or
- Click + Add row on top below the existing records
From the record creation page:
- Press the hotkey N, or
- Click the + button in the upper right corner of your table
Once on the record creation page, click Finish Later to save the record as a draft.
