This page covers the Profile section of Settings. For instructions on how to access Settings, see the Settings page.

Capabilities

• Upload or paste a profile picture
• Set your display name and display email
• Add your first name, last name, and phone number
• Update your login email
• Reset your password

Fields

Profile Picture — Upload an image by dragging and dropping it into the area or pasting it with Ctrl V / Cmd V.

Display Name — The name shown to other users throughout Jestor (in records, comments, mentions, etc.).

Display Email — An optional email shown on your profile, separate from your login email.

First Name / Last Name — Your personal name, used internally.

Email — Your login email address.

Phone — An optional phone number associated with your profile.

Reset password — Sends a password reset link to your login email.

Keep in mind

• Changing your Display Name does not change your @username (the handle shown in orange on your profile).
• Reset password sends a reset link to your current login email — it does not change the password immediately within this panel.

FAQ

1- If I change my display name, will it update everywhere in the workspace? Yes. Your display name updates across all records, comments, and mentions in the workspace.

2- What is the difference between Display Email and Email? Email is your login credential. Display Email is optional and only shown on your profile — it does not affect how you sign in.
