How to create a Phone Number field

Step 1 — In table mode, click the "+" icon at the end of the table headers.

Step 2 — Select Phone Number from the list of field types.

Step 3 — Set the field name and, if needed, toggle Required field to make it mandatory.

Step 4 — Click Create.

Use cases and examples

• Clients table — Store each client's phone number to use in automations, such as generating a direct link to open a WhatsApp conversation.
• Suppliers table — Keep supplier contact numbers organized and accessible in one place.
• Employees table — Record employee phone numbers for internal contact and HR workflows.

• The field only accepts numbers — it does not accept letters or special characters typed manually.
• It does not automatically format numbers from different country codes or international formats.
• It does not validate whether the number actually exists or is reachable.
• It does not send messages or make calls directly — it stores the number, which can then be used in automations.

Not directly. The field stores the number, and you can use it in an automation to generate a WhatsApp link or trigger a message via an integrated tool.

2- Does the field accept international phone numbers?

Yes, you can enter international numbers, but the field does not automatically apply country code formatting. You'll need to enter the number in a consistent format manually.

3- What happens if someone tries to type letters into a Phone Number field?

The field only accepts numeric input, so non-numeric characters are not allowed.

4- Can I make the Phone Number field required?

Yes. When creating or editing the field, toggle the Required field option so users must fill it in before saving a record.
